Octopus Second AIM VCT PLC (the "Company") 
 
Change of Accounting Reference Date 
 
In light of the proposed merger, on 27 April 2010 the Board of Octopus Second 
AIM VCT plc resolved that the Accounting Reference Date of the Company be 
changed from 28 February to 30 April. This was so that the publication of its 
audited accounts can either be delayed until the outcome of the proposed merger 
is known, or avoided in order to save costs.
