                        Approval for De-Listing from AIM



6 May 2008

The Board of Prometheus Energy Company announces that at the Extraordinary
General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company on  Friday, 2 May 2008 , over 96 percent
of the shares represented at the meeting and voting through proxy have approved 
the cancellation of the admission of the Company's shares to trading on AIM and
the proposed amendments to the the  Company's Articles of Incorporation to
reflect the De-listing. The date for the proposed cancellation is 7.00am on 13 
May 2008.
