multi-commodity  mining company Petmin Limited (JSE: PET; AIM: PTMN) wishes to
announce that Mr. Jabu Mabena has resigned as a  non- executive director with
effect from 1 August 2007.

The Board wishes to thank Mr Mabena for his valued contribution during Petmin's
early development.
