NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL
RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

VEGA Group PLC ("VEGA" or the "Company") announces that, following the
announcement on 16 January 2008 by Finmeccanica - Societa Per Azioni
("Finmeccanica") that its recommended cash offer to acquire the whole of the
issued and to be issued share capital of VEGA (the "Offer") has been declared
unconditional in all respects, Phil Cartmell and Sue Bygrave have exercised all
their outstanding share awards under the 2004 Executive Share Option Scheme and
the 2004 Long Term Incentive Plan and have accepted the Offer in respect of
these shares. Following this acceptance neither Phil Cartmell nor Sue Bygrave
have any remaining interest in VEGA's share capital.
