VOCALIS GROUP PLC ("Vocalis" or "the Company")

Vocalis received notification on 13 October 1999 that FMR Corp, parent holding
company  for  various  direct  and  indirect subsidiaries  including  Fidelity
Investment  Services Limited ("FISL"), and Mr Edward C Johnson 3rd  (principal
shareholder  of Fidelity International Limited (FIL")), collectively  have  an
interest in 3,398,860 ordinary Vocalis shares, representing 7.78 per cent.  of
the  total  issued ordinary share capital  of the Company.  These  shares  are
