Vocalis Group plc ("Vocalis" or "the Company")

Vocalis was informed on 27 May 1999 that FMR Corp, parent holding company  for
various   direct  and  indirect  subsidiaries  including  Fidelity  Investment
Services Limited ("FISL"), and Mr Edward C. Johnson 3rd (principal shareholder
of  FMR Corp and Fidelity International Limited ("FIL")), collectively have an
interest  in 2,577,055 ordinary Vocalis shares, representing 5.9 per cent.  of
the  total  issued  ordinary share capital of the Company.  These  shares  are
