Newest Lender-Facing Tools and Latest Consumer-Facing Products
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- LendingTree, the nation's
number one online lending exchange, held its 10th Annual Partner
Summit in Las Vegas, NV earlier this month. Designed to serve as a
dynamic forum for the company's nationwide lender network, the
Summit brought nearly 200 mortgage professionals together to
discuss new industry challenges and opportunities, business
expansion plans and tools and market share growth. The conference
also provided LendingTree the opportunity to introduce a number of
its new, industry-leading products and services designed to meet
the ever-changing demands of lenders and consumers across the
country. As host, the recently rebranded and relaunched LendingTree
highlighted throughout the two-day Lender Summit themes of
commitment to growth, diversification and innovation. These tenets
were reinforced by a number of specialized breakout sessions and
guest keynote speakers including Mt. Everest expedition leader and
author John Amatt and Fannie Mae Chief Economist and Vice President
Doug Duncan. The Lender Summit addressed a number of LendingTree
developments including the company's recent rebrand and relaunch of
LendingTree. Tree.com Chairman and CEO Doug Lebda explained the
company's overall mission and vision - highlighting a reinvigorated
LendingTree brand and a firm commitment to helping consumers tackle
all of life's major financial decisions. Lebda also addressed the
value of leveraging the Tree.com brand in order to expand into
critical consumer categories such as education, insurance and home
services. CMO Darren Beck delivered an overview of LendingTree's
new array of consumer-facing tools such as MoneyRight, a free
personal finance management site, and Mortgage Checkup, a tool that
helps consumers determine which mortgage option is most
appropriate. Beck also delved into the company's new television ad
campaign complemented by its latest multi-channel brand marketing
efforts through social media (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, etc.). "The
rebrand and relaunch of LendingTree is a significant milestone not
just for consumers but also for our lender network," said Beck.
"We're generating increased LendingTree brand visibility through
our new marketing initiatives - especially in the social media
realm, which is an amazing resource for lenders in terms of tapping
into new potential. These marketing efforts, along with all of our
new consumer tools, become incredibly valuable to our lender
network, as they create more LendingTree brand leverage than ever
before." LendingTree Exchange President Bob Harris covered a range
of LendingTree Exchange's new lender-facing tools including Fixed
Filters, Automated Lender Set Up and Canopy, an easy-to-use online
portal designed to show lenders where to capture untapped potential
loan volume opportunity and maximize overall business performance.
Harris also delivered insight into key sales training,
certification and education offerings at the disposal of
LendingTree network lenders including LendingTree University.
Rounding out the Summit, Fannie Mae Chief Economist and Vice
President Doug Duncan provided an insider's perspective on future
trends within the housing and mortgage industry. In addition to
industry discussion, the Summit also featured author and Mt.
Everest expedition leader John Amatt. Recalling incredible
experiences of leadership, teamwork and overcoming adversity, Amatt
drove home themes of taking measured risk and embracing the unknown
with optimism - ideals that resonated with all Summit attendees.
"From our perspective, the Lender Summit was a huge success, packed
with informative speakers, high-impact breakout sessions and an
incredible energy level," said Harris. "The Summit not only lets us
update our lender network on key LendingTree strategies and
initiatives, but it also gives our partners the opportunity to
provide feedback and network with each other to share best
practices and identify ways to generate profitable growth
together." About LendingTree, LLC LendingTree, LLC is the nation's
