-- Cardno (ASX: CDD) merger partner Cardno TEC and Leidos
(NYSE: LDOS), announced their limited liability company, Cardno
TEC-Leidos LLC, was awarded a prime contract by the Naval
Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic to provide
architectural, engineering, and environmental services in support
of the Tactical Training Theater Assessment and Planning (TAP)
program. The single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity
(IDIQ) contract has a one-year base period of performance, four
one-year options, and a total contract value of $50 million, if all options are exercised.
The TAP program is intended to ensure the sustainability of Navy
training ranges and operating areas to support warfighter readiness
around the world. Under the contract Cardno TEC-Leidos LLC will
provide services, including: Navy operation and associated training
requirements; environmental planning; operational range clearance
and munitions; Range Complex Management Plans; Range Sustainability
Environmental Program Assessments; Air Installation Compatibility
Use Zone and Range Air Installation Compatibility Use Zone
encroachment; and marine species documentation. These services are
required to prepare warfighter readiness documentation, including
environmental and military range planning documents. Work may be
performed world-wide but will be performed primarily in
Virginia, California, Washington, and Arizona.
