Spring Group Plc ("Spring" or the "Company")



Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Block Listing of
up to 750,000 ordinary shares of 10p each fully paid to be admitted to the
Official List. These ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing
ordinary shares of the Company and are expected to be admitted to trading on 30
December 2003.



These shares will be issued in connection with the exercise of options under the
Spring 2001 Executive Share option Scheme.
