--SoftBank Group Corp. plans to sell about one-third of its stake in San Francisco-based ride-hailing company Uber Technologies Inc., CNBC reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources.

--SoftBank Group plans to sell 45 million shares in Uber, in part to cover losses stemming from its investment in Chinese ride-hailing company Didi Global Inc., the CNBC report said.
