GameStop is the place for the best gifts in
gaming and pop culture
It’s that time of the year when gift-givers begin putting together
their holiday shopping list for the gamer in their life. To lend a
helping hand, GameStop announces today the release of its 2018
Holiday Gift Guide.
With more than 50 pages filled with the best gifts in gaming and
pop culture, GameStop’s 2018 Holiday Gift Guide is the perfect
shopping tool to help gift-givers find this holiday’s must-have
items on every gamers’ wish list in one location.
“It’s the holiday season and we’re pulling out all stops to
bring joy to the players and gift-givers,” said Eric Bright, vice
president of Merchandising for GameStop. “Our 2018 Holiday Gift
Guide includes hundreds of gift ideas that are perfect for people
of all ages, of all fandoms, regardless if they’ve been naughty or
nice this year.”
New for this holiday, GameStop is the offering a complete line
of officially-licensed merchandise from several of the most popular
franchises, including Fortnite, Red Dead Redemption II, Call of
Duty: Black Ops 4 and Fallout to name a few. Gaming fans of these
franchises are sure to find that special item from a variety of
collectibles merchandise, like character action figures and
statues, board games, exclusive replica weapons, t-shirts and other
apparel, and so much more.
But that’s not all. GameStop is the place to get the latest
video game title releases like Red Dead Redemption II, Call of
Duty: Black Ops 4, Spider-Man, Overwatch, Minecraft, Fallout 76
(available Nov. 14), Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go
Eevee (both available Nov. 16), Super Smash Bros Ultimate
(available Dec. 7); and Super Mario Party, among other new and
pre-owned, physical or digital game titles.
Need some hardware? GameStop’s Gift Guide also features a full
line up of the most sought-after Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation
4 and Microsoft Xbox One gaming hardware and accessories. GameStop
is one of the remaining retailers to offer guests the option to
build their ultimate video game system and accessories gift package
by reserving merchandise now, and paying over time via the GameStop
No Fee Layaway Program. Guests can also trade-in video games and
accessories during the layaway program and allocate the trade
credit toward their layaway down payment.
“Last year during this time, our guests told us they wanted more
choices in types of gaming merchandise we offer, and more
convenience in how they can purchase their holiday gifts,” Eric
said. “We listened and have curated a more comprehensive catalogue
of items this year. And we’ve made it even easier to shop at
GameStop anywhere and anytime using a mobile device. Customers can
have their purchases shipped directly to them or pick up in our
stores using the GameStop app.”
