We have been hard at work planning for our integration with Vivint Solar, and I wanted to share a few of the latest updates. Our goal remains to bring
together the best ideas and practices from both companies. This will make us a broader, more diversified company full of new and exciting opportunities for our employees and customers.
What Weve Already Done: The integration planning team is making exceptional progress at both companies. Functional and cross-functional teams
have participated in hundreds of virtual meetings aiming to make our first day together exciting and impactful for our colleagues and our customers. Through this process we expect to:
Enable our combined sales and operations teams to work toward a unified brand and message to our customers
Provide our respective customers the best products and services
Work together in the field to achieve our growth targets and create a better customer experience
Bring together our new company and our cultures using shared language and values
You all can expect additional updates over the next few weeks and months. If you have any questions or comments about the integration planning process, please
reach out to your managers or submit them HERE.
What Comes Next: Thanks again to everyone who completed the Sunrun Culture Survey. Nearly 3,000
Sunrunners shared their views with us! We are reviewing what you shared and will ensure your thoughts and guidance shape our integration.
Culture is
critical. When the deal closes, we will all need to align on a set of shared values, commitments, and language. We must strive to communicate directly and openly with one another, with an abundant and constructive mindset. Together we can
build a better, stronger, and more inclusive Sunrun.
A Bit About Vivint Solar: Ive been learning a ton about Vivint Solars culture and
values, and its clear were very similar in many ways. Exercising curiosity is so important as we take this next step together. Please take a moment to review our own company values and learn more about Vivint Solar, its history, values,
performance, and strategy. The more I dig in, the more I am excited about what our two companies will do as one.
