AXA Equitable Promotes Andrea Nitzan to Senior Vice President of Expense Management

NEW YORK, June 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Andrea Nitzan has been
elected Senior Vice President of Expense Management for AXA
Equitable Life Insurance Company, the primary U.S. life insurance
and savings subsidiary of the global AXA Group. The announcement
was made today by Richard Dziadzio, Chief Financial Officer of AXA
Financial, Inc., the parent company of AXA Equitable. In her new
role Ms. Nitzan leads AXA Equitable's annual budget process and
coordinates enterprise-wide expense management, including
accounting, reporting, analysis and forecasting. Ms. Nitzan serves
as the senior business partner between Finance and other business
areas. She leads a team of finance professionals who work with
these business unit leaders to identify and provide the critical
expense information, metrics, and advice necessary to achieve

of Expense Management in July 2007. Previously, from 1997 to July
2007, she served as Vice President and Deputy Controller of
Insurance Accounting, responsible for all general ledger financial
data related to insurance operations. In this role, she
successfully led numerous process and control improvements,
resulting in significant expense reduction and greater accounting
efficiency. Ms. Nitzan joined AXA Equitable in 1996 as Assistant
Vice President and Chief of Staff to then Chief Financial Officer,
Stanley B. Tulin. Prior to joining AXA Equitable, Ms. Nitzan was a
Senior Business Assurance Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP,
where she managed the financial and operational audits of several
major insurance company clients. Ms. Nitzan received a Bachelor of
Science degree in business administration from Hofstra University
where she was a member of the National Business and Commerce Honor
Society, Beta Gamma Sigma. Ms. Nitzan resides in Bergen County, New
