State Recycling Organization Names Meg Morris a Top Recycler

ALBANY, N.Y., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- At its recent Annual Meeting,
the New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse & Recycling
(NYSAR3) named Meg Morris, Director for Environmental Science &
Community Affairs at Covanta Energy, as Recycler of the Year for a
Private Company. "Meg has worked tirelessly to support recycling
and has brought credibility and professionalism to every position
she's held in the recycling world," said Jeff Cooper, President of
NYSAR. "She has devoted her energies to numerous local, state and
national organizations focused on best practices for managing
today's trash." A proponent of "reduce, reuse, recycle, and recover
energy from waste," Morris's recycling outreach extends to the

since joining Covanta. He said she has expanded the company's
community relations and educational outreach to promote the

education campaign, to both Covanta and the state of New York.
