Forrester evaluated human resource management systems (HRMS)
vendors across 92 criteria for both the multinational enterprise
market as well as the U.S. midmarket. Among the solutions
evaluated, SAP was named a leader for multinationals with its
mySAP(TM) ERP Human Capital Management (HCM) application. See
related press release, titled "SAP Extends Human Capital Management
Market Leadership with Over 10,000 Customers." The announcement was
made at the Human Resource (HR) Technology Conference and
Exposition, being held in Chicago, Illinois, October 4 - 6. "With
strong international capabilities as the global applications market
leader, SAP has steadily added breadth and depth to its global HRMS
offering," writes Paul Hamerman, Vice President, Forrester
Research. "Recent development efforts have improved strategic
process support, including performance and succession planning.
Usability, which has long been a weakness for SAP, is receiving
considerable attention with initiatives underway to extend HR
application usability include Adobe interactive forms and Microsoft
Office (Duet)." To assess the state of the human resources
management systems market, Forrester evaluated the strengths and
weaknesses of top HRMS vendors. The evaluation criteria targeted
process functions, technology and customer experience. The 92
criteria of evaluation were grouped within 3 main categories:
current offering, strategy and market presence. "SAP continues to
extend its HCM market leadership with more than 10,000 SAP
customers worldwide running mySAP ERP HCM," said Ellen Minter,
senior vice president, Solution Marketing - Applications and Suite,
SAP AG. "Our ongoing momentum in the HCM space confirms our true

management processes that empower best- run organizations to evolve
