Western Troy Capital Resources (TSX VENTURE:WRY) ("Western Troy" or the
"Company") is pleased to announce it has received $117,101.10 in Quebec tax
refunds. The tax refunds are for qualified exploration expenses incurred on
mineral projects in Quebec for tax years 2012 and 2013. 


Western Troy reports the GENIVAR litigation is in the discovery stage and there
is a Case Management Conference scheduled for mid-August. The Conference is for
the purpose of scheduling and expediting the remaining steps necessary before
setting the action down for trial, including examinations for discovery and
mandatory mediation. Western Troy, through diligence and court orders, is moving
the litigation forward.
