Diabetes is now considered to be a chronic worldwide epidemic.
Over 400 million people are currently diagnosed as diabetics, and
an estimated 800 million more have diabetes but have not yet been
diagnosed. Approximately 1/6th of the world's population now has
diabetes. 2,500,000 people die each year from diabetes related
problems.
The disease now affects hundreds of thousands of children as
young as three or four.
One of the most dangerous products for diabetics is sugar.
