Spain's Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) said Wednesday that it will restructure its business units and appoint new managers for the units on July 1.

Gas Natural said it will reduce its business units to four from the current six. The gas-and-power business will be led by Manuel Fernandez, it said. In the infrastructure business, Rose Maria Sanz will be in charge of Spain and the Maghreb, Antonio Gallart will take care of Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Peru, and Jose G. Sanleandro will lead it in Mexico and Panama.

The changes are linked to Gas Natural's 2018-2022 strategic plan, which is set to be approved in late June by shareholders.
