Oil-field equipment maker Dresser-Rand Group Inc. (DRC) has hired Morgan Stanley (MS) after receiving expressions of interest from potential buyers, including Siemens AG (SIE.XE), Bloomberg News reported Thursday on its website, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Sulzer AG (SUN.EB), a Swiss pump maker, had previously discussed a merger with Dresser-Rand, the people told Bloomberg.
