Great Places Housing Group Limited and MSV Housing Group Limited are in discussions to join together in a merger.

Subject to due diligence, shareholder approval, Board approval, funder consent and FCA approval, it is proposed that MSV Housing Group will join Great Places Housing Group by Transfer of Engagements to Great Places Housing Association, a subsidiary of the Great Places Housing Group. Completion of the merger is targeted for 1(st) July 2023.

The new organisation will be responsible for 34,000 homes across the North-West, Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The Board will continue to be led by Tony Davison as Group Chair, and Gareth Hall is the Vice-Chair designate.

David Robinson will continue in his role as Chair of Cube Homes Limited, Great Places Housing Association's commercial subsidiary.

Matthew Harrison will step down from his role as Chief Executive upon completion of the merger and Charlotte Norman, Chief Executive of MSV Housing Group is the Chief Executive designate.

Alison Dean is the Deputy Chief Executive designate. Phil Elvy is the Chief Finance Officer designate and Helen Rourke is the Executive Finance Director designate. The remainder of the Executive team will be:

   -     Pete Bojar 
   -     Fiona Creighton 
   -     Helen Spencer

MSV Housing Group Limited is registered in England and Wales under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, with the Financial Conduct Authority (registration number 7609) and a registered provider of social housing (registration number 4857). MSV is also a public benefit entity.
