Update on Work Activities at the
Clogau-St David's Gold Mine
Alba Mineral Resources plc (AIM: ALBA) is pleased to advise that
the Company's underground exploration programme at the Clogau-St
David's Gold Mine has resumed. The programme will run until the end
of October 2020. The programme will initially focus on underground
drilling, however the Company also intends to resume its
underground bulk sampling programme during this month.
Alba's specialist confined space contractors have also now
commenced rehabilitation of the extensive pipework within the
Llechfraith adit to provide pressurised air for drilling and future
development.
Following the end of the underground programme, as previously
announced Alba intends to commence in November a surface drilling
programme at Clogau-St David's, per the notification submitted to
the local planning authority for the first (up to 1500 metre) phase
of drilling of the planned up to 5,000 metre surface drilling
programme. Commencement of the surface drilling campaign is subject
to timely receipt of all approvals and consents.
