With  reference to Section 198 of the Companies Act  1985

Norwich Union Group plc is interested in 470,000 ordinary
shares  representing 3.5 per cent. of  the  issued  share
capital.

These shares are registered in the name of:

Norwich Union Life & Pensions B A/c          470,000

The  interests are being disclosed on behalf  of  Norwich
Union plc (as the ultimate holding company of the Norwich
Union Group of Companies).
