On  26  June  1998  Williams de Broe Plc  placed  1,103,000
ordinary  shares  in  Comino  plc,  on  behalf  of  existing
shareholders at a price of 230p per share.

The following notifications have been received in accordance
with Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985:

On  26  June 1998, Abingworth Management Limited had reduced
its holding to 1,845,072 shares representing 13.82 per cent.
of the issued share capital of the Company.

On  29  June 1998, Quester Limited and its subsidiaries  had
reduced  their holdings to 615,000 shares representing  4.61
per  cent.  of the issued share capital of the  Company;  
D. Maddox had reduced his  holding to 741,987 shares 
representing 5.56 per cent. of the issued share  capital  of 
the  Company and  J. Williams had reduced  his  holding  to 
741,987  shares representing 5.56 per cent. of the issued 
share capital of the Company.
