Substantial Shareholding

In accordance with Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 the Company has today
been advised that Robert Fleming Holdings Limited, on  behalf of The  Fleming 
Mercantile Investment Trust Plc, has a beneficial  interest in 485,000
ordinary shares in Comino plc, representing 3.57 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.

The shares are registered in the name of Robert Fleming Nominees Limited.
