IBIS Media VCT 1 plc (the "Company")

Notice of General Meeting and Recommended Proposals relating to the Voluntary Winding-up of the Company

The Company has today published a Circular which sets out the proposal for a solvent, voluntary winding-up of the Company and the actions which are required for its implementation, and convenes a shareholders' meeting of the Company to vote on various resolutions (the "Resolutions") to effect the winding-up. The Resolutions, as set out in the Notice of the General Meeting, will be put to the General Meeting of the Company convened for 5pm on 18 January 2017 at the offices of IBIS Capital, 22 Soho Square, London W1D 4NS.

It is the Company's intention that:

i. the listing of the Company's shares on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange will be suspended at 7.30am on the day of the General Meeting (being the 18(th) January 2017); and

ii. the listing of the Company's shares on the Main Market will be cancelled the day following the General Meeting (being the 19(th) January 2017), subject to the members of the Company passing the resolutions required to effect the voluntary winding-up of the Company by the required percentage.
