Result of Extraordinary General Meeting


At the extraordinary general meeting of JD Sports, which took place earlier
today, the resolution to approve the acquisition of Blacks Sport & Fashion
Division by the Company was duly passed. Completion of the acquisition is
therefore expected to take place tomorrow.
