MICE Group Plc (the "Company"), the international marketing services group, has
today been notified by HSBC Holdings plc and certain of its subsidiaries that it
has an interest in 22,698,000 ordinary shares of 4p each in the Company ("
Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 12.81 per cent. of the issued
share capital of the Company.


These Ordinary Shares are held by the following subsidiary:
