Raytheon to Provide Improved Track Correlation and Fusion Capability

TEWKSBURY, Mass., Feb. 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company
(NYSE: RTN) has been awarded a $4.8 million contract to develop and
install a system that will provide improved intelligence and
information sharing to the Joint Interagency Task Force-South
(JIATF-S). Raytheon will provide JIATF-S with a track correlation
system consisting of a multisensor correlation, intelligence
fusion, and information-sharing capability as part of the Joint
Operations Center modernization project known as JOC 2010. Raytheon
was awarded the contract by the Department of Defense's
Counter-Narcoterrorism Program Office that includes a base and two
options, valued at nearly $4.8 million, with a total potential
value of $6.6 million. "Fielding this type of proven and affordable
capability is critical to our homeland security," said Karen

security business area for Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems.
