On 30 May 2006, Urals Energy received notification from BlueCrest Capital
Management LP (as Investment Manager) and affiliates ("BlueCrest") that on 26
May 2006 they acquired 2,900,000 shares of 0.25 Cyprus pence each in the capital
of the Company ("Shares").  Following this purchase, BlueCrest holds 7,577,600
Shares.
