launched FTB-5240S-P Optical Spectrum Analyzer (OSA) module was
exclusively selected by a tier-1 European operator to support the
deployment of a ROADM-based 40G next-generation network in the next
three years. As part of its continuing commitment to use
state-of-the-art equipment and follow carrier-class engineering
standards, this operator is relying on EXFO's optical testing
expertise to ensure its network's performance meets the increasing
bandwidth demand of next-generation 40 Gigabit technologies. Thanks
to an integrated in-band OSNR measurement capability, EXFO's newly
launched FTB-5240S-P next-generation OSA covers all DWDM
applications and channel spacings, from 25 GHz DWDM to CWDM. Housed
in the powerful FTB-500 portable platform, the FTB-5240S-P can be
combined with other modules such as SONET, Ethernet and Fibre
Channel analyzers. "Above all, we wanted to seamlessly integrate
