Subsea 7 SA said Friday that it has been awarded a "sizeable" contract from Petroleo Brasileiro SA for a pipelay support vessel offshore Brazil.

The agreement extends an existing contract for the Seven Cruzeiro vessel from February until November 2023, it said.

Subsea 7 defines a sizeable contract as being between $50 million and $150 million.
