Norwegian offshore support vessel operator DOF said Monday that
it has been awarded three new service contracts worth over $260
million from Brazil's Petrobras.
The contracts represent a continuation of services under
contracts signed with Petrobras in 2020 and that have been in force
since December of that year.
At least three vessels will be used to perform flexible
pipeline, risers and subsea equipment inspection in the Campos
Basin, Santos Basin, and Espirito Santos Basin offshore Brazil,
with more than 3,200 inspections expected to be performed.
DOF said the contracts, which are planned to commence in the
fourth quarter of the year and the first quarter of 2024, will be
performed within two years.
