Dollar Rises From 3-day Low Versus South African Rand

After touching a 3-day low of 7.6355 by about 6:30 am ET, the US
currency edged up against the South African rand during New York
trading on Friday. The greenback-rand pair surged up to 7.8665 as
of 1:25 pm ET, which may be compared to Thursday's North American
session close of 7.7380. Currently, the pair is trading at
7.8363.
