Greenback Declines To More Than 2-week Low Against South African Rand

After edging up to 6.9290 at around 1:00 pm ET Wednesday, the US
currency traded lower against the South African rand thereafter. At
3:15 pm ET, the greenback declined to more than a 2-week low of
6.8550 versus the rand, compared to yesterday's close of
6.8976.
Following a two-day meeting, the Federal Open Market Committee,
the policy-setting arm of the Fed, said that it has decided to
retain interest rates unchanged at a record low.
