Soapstone Networks to Ring NASDAQ(R) Closing Bell in Celebration of the Name and Ticker Symbol Change From Avici Systems

BILLERICA, MA today announced that it will celebrate the change
of the Company's name to Soapstone Networks and ticker symbol
change to SOAP by participating in the NASDAQ� Closing Bell
Ceremony on March 19, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.
