Mace Security International, Inc. (“Mace” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ Global: MACE) today announced that it is holding its annual meeting with its stockholders on December 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. EST.

The meeting will be held to approve the proposed election of five directors and to vote on the ratification of the audit committee’s appointment of a registered public accounting firm. After the conclusion of the formal stockholder voting portion of the meeting, the Company's management will make a presentation. The event’s details are as follows:

  2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders Tuesday, December 15, 2009 10 a.m. EST New York Athletic Club Colonial Room 180 Central Park South New York, NY 10019  

During the meeting, Mace’s CEO and President Dennis Raefield will present an update on the Company’s progress and business strategies.

After the meeting, the presentation will be listed on Mace’s web site www.corp.mace.com in the Investor Relations section and Mace will file a copy of the presentation with the SEC on Form 8-K.
