HD Jump(TM), Designed For Use In Cars And At Home, To Be Demonstrated At CES LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2007 /PRNewswire/ -- Visteon Corporation (NYSE:VC) launches its new transportable HD Radio(TM) receiver at a press conference during the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 9. The conference will be held in Visteon's booth - Central Plaza, CP7, the company will also unveil its wireless charging technology. The transportable HD Jump(TM) unit delivers premium new HD2 multicast channels and crystal-clear sound, both in the car, as well as in the home. HD Jump offers the full spectrum of HD Radio features, including program associated data, such as real-time song title, artist and album information, as well as multicasting, where available. The clarity of HD Radio technology allows FM stations to be enjoyed with CD quality sound and boosts AM quality up to that of FM sound. More than 1,000 radio stations now broadcast HD Radio signals in the U.S., with more than 400 offering new formats on HD2 channels. The cradle's built-in auxiliary input jack also enables users to plug in an MP3 player and hear its contents through the vehicle's sound system.
