EVT Eaton Vance Tax Advantaged Dividend Income Fund

Effective April 23, 2007, Heidi L. Steiger and Thomas E. Faust Jr. have been appointed Trustees of Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund (NYSE:EVT) (the �Fund�). Ms. Steiger and Mr. Faust are new additions to the current Board of the Fund. Ms. Steiger is the President of the global wealth management firm, Lowenhaupt Global Advisors, LLC. Prior to joining Lowenhaupt Global Advisors, LLC, Ms. Steiger was President and Contributing Editor of Worth Magazine (2004) and Executive Vice President, Global Head of Private Asset Management at the investment firm, Neuberger Berman (from 1986 to 2004). Ms. Steiger also serves on the boards of Nuclear Electric Insurance Ltd. and Aviva USA, both of which are insurance providers. Ms. Steiger holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Boston College in English and communications. The Boards have appointed Ms. Steiger as a member of the Audit Committee and the Governance Committee. Mr. Faust is President and Chief Investment Officer of Eaton Vance Corp., parent company of the Funds� investment adviser. Mr. Faust has been with the Eaton Vance organization since 1985. Mr. Faust holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering and economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Faust will not serve on any Board committees. Ms. Steiger is not an �interested person� of the Fund, as that term is defined in the Investment Company Act of 1940. Mr. Faust is an interested person of the Fund by reason of his affiliation with Eaton Vance Management, the Fund�s investment adviser. Eaton Vance Management is a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp. Eaton Vance Corp., a Boston-based investment management firm, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol EV. Through its subsidiaries, Eaton Vance Corp. managed approximately $144.3 billion in assets on March 31, 2007.
