Corporation (NYSE: OLN) announced today that it intends to
commence an offering of $500 million
aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2030 (the "Senior
Notes"), subject to market and other conditions. The Senior Notes
will be sold pursuant to Olin's shelf registration statement and
the base prospectus on file with the Securities and Exchange
Commission ("SEC"). The underwriters for the transaction are
Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Wells
Fargo Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith
Incorporated, PNC Capital Markets LLC, SMBC Nikko Securities

of the offering, together with cash on hand, to prepay in part the
term loans outstanding under Olin's existing term loan credit
