Regulatory News: Today, Pierre Graff, Chairman and CEO of A�roports de Paris (Paris:ADP) and Jean-Cyril Spinetta, Chairman and CEO of Air France-KLM signed a protocol agreement concerning the design and operation of the S4 boarding satellite, the future extension of Paris-Charles de Gaulle terminal 2E. This signature marks the official launch of the project and illustrates A�roports de Paris ambition to cooperate with customer airlines from the preliminary design stage through to delivery of the facilities. The building, with a capacity to handle over 7 million passengers annually and intended for use by SkyTeam alliance members, will enter into service in 2012. Initial construction work has already begun to the East of the hub. The protocol describes the main specifications of satellite 4 (handling capacity, number of aircraft parking stands, level of IATA quality, etc.), and defines the framework for cooperation between A�roports de Paris and Air France regarding project follow-up as well as the drafting of specifications for the future baggage sorting systems at satellites 3 and 4.
