Holding in the Company; Share Buy-in



Shore Capital Group plc ("Shore Capital" or "the Company"), has been informed
that the Bank Leumi Group has today sold its entire shareholding in the Company.
The holding, of 76,964,541, shares, represented 24.9% of the Company's issued
share capital; 76,200,000 of this holding, representing 24.65% of the Company's
issued share capital, was held by Bank Leumi (UK) plc.


Of the holding sold, 46,330,585 shares, representing 14.99% of the Company's
issued share capital, were purchased by Shore Capital for cancellation pursuant
to its market purchase authority.  The balance were purchased by clients of
Shore Capital.  The transaction was conducted at a price of 10.75p.
