Dr Anthony Mullins notes today's announcement by Barlo Group plc ('Barlo' or the
'Company')  concerning his approach to the Company on behalf of himself and
members of the Barlo management team. He confirms that his approach, which may
or may not lead to an offer, was made on the basis of an offer price of Euro30 cent
for each Barlo share.  This matter is at a very early stage and there can be no
certainty that an offer will be made arising from this approach.



The holder of 1% or more of any relevant securities in Barlo may have disclosure
obligations under Rule 8.3 of the Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997, Takeover Rules
2001, from the date of this announcement.
