Abertis Chief Executive Moves to Gas Natural

Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) said late Tuesday that it has
appointed Francisco Reynes Massanet as chief executive and chairman
of the board. In a separate release, Abertis Infraestructuras SA
(ABE.MC) said that he will leave his role as chief executive of
that company.
Gas Natural said incumbent Chairman Isidro Faine Casas and Chief
Executive Rafael Villaseca Marco have resigned.
Mr. Faine Casas has been appointed honorary chairman, the
company said.
In another release, Abertis said that Chief Financial Officer
Jose Aljaro Navarro has been appointed as executive board director,
replacing Mr. Reynes as chief executive.
The board appointment must be ratified at the annual
shareholders' meeting, Abertis said.
Mr. Faine Casas is chairman at Criteria Caixa, a holding company
which owns a 24% and a 22% stake in Gas Natural and a Abertis,
respectively.
