Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) and Algeria's Sonatrach agreed to renew gas supply contracts for gas exported from Algeria to Spain until 2030, the Spanish company said on Thursday.

The contracts make up more than 40% of the Spanish company's overall gas procurement, it said.

"The alliance between the two companies guarantees a stable gas supply to Spain through improved conditions," Gas Natural said in a statement.
