Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX) said its Tenke Fungurume copper and cobalt mine in Congo has reduced its operating rates due to electricity outages in recent weeks, Bloomberg News reported Monday.

The company is working with the state-owned electricity provider SNEL and the government to resolve the problems, the report said.
