RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 2(nd) August 2023 it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 2,914 Ordinary Shares at prices between GBP20.83 and GBP31.04 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 30,487,181 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 721,653,157.
