                        Disposal of Logistics Operation

Alphameric, the information technology solutions provider, is pleased to
announce the disposal of its logistics operation to LIS Online Limited for a
total cash consideration of #300,000.

As shareholders are aware, the Group has for some time been seeking a suitable
path forward for this operation in the light of the consolidation and tightening
of the third party logistics market. For the year to November 2002 the logistics
operation incurred operating losses of #782,000, before goodwill amortisation.
