Anthem Annual Report Wins Gold in International Competition
INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Anthem Inc.'s 2003 summary
annual report has won a gold award at the 18th Annual International
ARC Awards -- the world's largest and most respected annual report
competition. This is the second consecutive year that Anthem has
been internationally recognized, having won a silver award for its
2002 annual report. The ARC Awards honor overall excellence in
annual reports. Panels of international judges -- top-level
investor relations executives, financial executives, writers,
designers and photographers from agencies and corporations --
selected winners from nearly 1,800 entries submitted by some 800
different companies from 24 countries. In addition to gold awards,
companies could receive silver, bronze and honors awards. Criteria
used to choose winners include cover and inside design, writing,
financial presentation and how well the spirit of the company is
