                   APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS

The Board of Chloride Group PLC ("Chloride") is pleased to announce the
appointment of two independent non-executive directors, Gary Bullard and Eric
Tracey.

Gary Bullard, aged 48, is Managing Director UK, BT Global Services, with
responsibility for British Telecom's UK corporate and government customers.
Previously he had 26 years' experience at IBM, holding a number of senior
management positions in Europe and the USA.

Eric Tracey, aged 57, is currently Finance Director of Wembley PLC.  Eric was a
partner in Deloitte & Touche from 1980 to 2004, with five years as head of
Deloitte's Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities practice in Europe.  In 2003 he
was seconded to Amey PLC as acting Finance Director, until the transfer of that
company to Ferrovial SA.

Commenting on the announcement, Norman Broadhurst, Chairman, said:

"These non executive appointments will broaden the skills base of the Board and
strengthen its non executive governance role.  Gary's strong background in sales
and marketing in international, blue-chip technology and telecoms companies, and
Eric's extensive financial and management experience, will be great assets to
the Board of Chloride."

Chloride confirms that there is no other information to be disclosed under the
requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to either appointment.
