IBIS Media VCT 1 plc (the "Company") - Directorate Changes

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, the Company reports that:

-- Peter Williams resigned from his position as independent non-executive director and chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 25 September 2014 and

-- Simon Jamieson resigned from his position as independent non-executive director with effect from 25 September 2014.

The remaining directors are Sir Robin Miller (chairman), Peter English, Lucy Macdonald, David Forster and Charles McIntyre.

Both Peter and Simon have served as members of the Company's investment committee and as directors of the Company since its formation. Peter also chaired the Company's audit committee. With the Company fully invested and now firmly focused on either nurturing its existing investments or seeking successful realisations, both Peter and Simon decided it was an appropriate time to step down from the board of directors. They leave with the thanks and good wishes of the board.

The Company's audit committee will now be chaired by Lucy Macdonald and Sir Robin Miller will join the committee. Peter English will succeed Lucy as chairman of the nomination and remuneration committee.
